GWB Entertainment: A Christmas Carol
17 November 2023 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm AEDT
Following last year’s sold-out season, Matthew Warchus’s Old Vic production of A Christmas Carol, based on Charles Dickens’ 1843 novella, returns to Melbourne. This year, Owen Teale (Game of Thrones, Line of Duty) plays Ebenezer Scrooge, a role he performed in London in 2022. In a four-star review of last year’s Melbourne production, Limelight called the play “heartwarming holiday-season entertainment” and said that “evocative live music is a key part of its success”.
