Melbourne Symphony Orchestra: Summer Symphony: Bunjil Place
29 January @ 10:00 am - 9:30 pm AEDT
Bunjil Place is at the heart of the City of Casey in Melbourne’s south-east, and with an outdoor community plaza, theatre, multipurpose studio, function centre, library and gallery it hosts shows of all types, for all ages young and old. On 29 January the MSO moves in: from 10am its Jams for Juniors workshop will take pre-school aged children (and their parents) through Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, and then at 7:30pm the Summer Symphony concert sees the sounds of well-loved favourites by Mozart, Beethoven and more float through the air. At just $5 for Jams for Juniors and $10 for the concert, it’s an affordable and family-friendly day of music.
