The ABC Classic concert schedule for May 2022 takes us all around the country and even back in time, from the opening of the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s new home in Sydney’s Walsh Bay Arts Precinct to Chineke! Chamber Ensemble’s performances at the 2022 Adelaide Festival. The 90 For 90 series celebrating the ABC’s 90th birthday continues, with Michael Tippett and Stravinsky conducting Australian ensembles in their own works and the first-ever broadcast from the ABC’s Tasmanian studio. And of course you will also hear the latest concert recordings by all of Australia’s major orchestras, plus the best European concerts thanks to the European Broadcasting Union.
