Musica Viva rescheduled
The first national tour of Musica Viva’s 2022 season was to be guitarist Karin Schaupp and the Flinders Quartet performing together. Unfortunately COVID has forced this to be postponed until next year. Instead Musica Viva has programmed a top-notch slate of replacements to ensure the music goes on. Adelaidians will hear their own Australian String Quartet with Konstantin Shamray; Brisbanites get the Orava Quartet and Daniel de Borah; Melbourne gets the Partridge String Quartet and James Morley; while Perth has Jonathan Paget and the Darlington Quartet. Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Hobart will be treated to Bernadette Harvey, violinist Harry Bennetts and cellist Miles Mullin-Chivers, whose program will also be livestreamed nationally. Would that all COVID cancellations led to such exciting replacements!
