An abandoned water tank in the remote mining town of Cobar in outback NSW has become a meditative sound chapel. Jeremy Eccles talks to Georges Lentz, the violinist and composer who dreamed up the musical marvel, and Oliver Miller, the cellist of experimental string quartet The Noise, which worked with Lentz to create and record the music that will play there continuously.
