Adelaide Chamber Singers has unveiled its 2021 season as the group enters its 36th year of performing chamber vocal music. Under Founder and Artistic Director Carl Crossin, ACS has announced three diverse programs, to be performed across three separate weekends throughout the year in three different venues around Adelaide.

Combining premieres of new music with much-loved choral works from established composers such as Eric Whitacre, Kerensa Briggs, and Knut Nystedt, the season will be making the most of the city of Adelaide. “We lived in hope during 2020, which allowed us to appreciate anew the unique value of choral singing – even if only because we didn’t have it for a while!” said Crossin. “Now in 2021, the year we return to performances, the Adelaide Chamber Singers continues its strong 35-year tradition of revelling in the sonorities of centuries of choral music.”
