The Australian String Quartet (ASQ) has announced the official launch of its new digital platform ASQ On Demand, featuring live performances, interviews and glimpses into life offstage for ASQ’s musicians and their guests. The platform will allow audiences both at home and abroad to experience the ensemble’s musicianship regardless of location, as part of the organisation’s efforts to increase accessibility.

“The On Demand platform allows us to reach people beyond what we can achieve through live touring. We are building a rich digital resource to capture and celebrate the music we play and the communities we visit across Australia,” said ASQ Chief Executive Angelina Zucco.

ASQ On Demand hosts a range of exclusive content alongside filmed performances, including discussions with friends and supporters of the ensemble, and program insights from ASQ musicians and guest artists. Longer-form, documentary-style videos combine music and talks to capture an augmented version of the ASQ concert experience.
