Australia Council has announced seven recipients of the Marten Bequest Scholarships. Each receives $50,000 to explore, study abroad or interstate, fund studies and assisting in future career paths.

The Dal Stivens Award and the Kathleen Mitchell Literary Award recipients are also announced, rewarding the authors with $15,000 in encouragement of their literary careers. 

Administered by the Australia Council on behalf of the Perpetual as Trustee, the recipients of the 2023 Marten Bequest scholarship recipients are:
