The Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra has announced its 2021 season, featuring three tours across the year. This will be the period instrument band’s largest ever season, with concerts planned for Sydney and Melbourne as well as Canberra, Newcastle, Orange and the Blue Mountains.

“2020 was a year of strange juxtapositions. The double voids of uncertainty and loss at watching our plans crumble before our eyes,” said Co-Artistic Directors Rachael Beesley and Nicole Van Bruggen. “The peacefulness and calm of lockdown hand in hand with the busyness of reinventing all of our creative processes. Ultimately for us – as with so many around the world – it was our artistic endeavours that allowed us to feel grounded and connected to our friends and colleagues.”
