Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2022

Sydney-based concert platform BackStage Music has launched its new performance series for 2022-23, featuring diverse collections of artists and works. Launched in 2016 and led by flautist and Ensemble Offspring member Lamorna Nightingale, the carefully curated series allows artists from different backgrounds and genres to collaborate and provides them with performance opportunities.

“Through the process of collaboration, the stories, voices and practices of the Asian diaspora, First Nations people and people living with disability are celebrated. In doing so we provide opportunities for a greater understanding of the diversity of experience in our society and we build the confidence of our most creative people to imagine a better future,” said BackStage Music in their season announcement.
