Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2023

The Ensemble Theatre has launched its 2023 season, consisting of 10 plays, including six written by (five) women, and three world premieres by Melanie Tait, Hilary Bell and Mark Kilmurry with Jamie Oxenbould.

The line-up also includes the Australian premiere of the 2021 Tony Award-nominated play Clyde’s by Lynn Nottage, who has twice won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, a David Williamson comedy, and Tennessee Williams’ gothic masterpiece Suddenly Last Summer.

Artistic Director Mark Kilmurry says: “We are so excited to be able to bring you a 10-play season once more! From classic theatre to the best of contemporary plays, I am looking forward to sharing these wonderful stories with you.”
