Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2022

The first ever Orange Winter Jazz Festival takes over the picturesque NSW city over the June long weekend, with some of Australia’s biggest names in jazz and some stars of the local scene performing over 50 performances across eight venues.

The lineup has been put together by Zoe Hauptmann from SIMA (Sydney Improvised Music Association) and Paul Kelly – no, not that one, or that one, or that one, or that one! – president of Jam Orange, a not-for profit association dedicated to supporting music in the Orange region. But with so many great shows to choose from, Deputy Editor Hugh Robertson has selected his picks from the stacked lineup.
