Season Preview: Your guide to the arts in 2022

Adelaide Festival Centre’s OzAsia Festival has announced its 2022 program. With the pandemic’s impact on travel significantly reduced this year, the festival will feature over 500 artists from more than eight different countries, a marked expansion from 2021. Across three jam-packed weeks from 20 October – 6 November, over 50 ticketed and free events will celebrate the best in contemporary Asian and Asian-Australian performance, art, literature, cuisine and culture. The program includes 10 world premieres, one Australian premiere and seven Adelaide premieres.

With borders open this year we offer even more exceptional, meaningful, and enthralling works of creativity and artistry, putting Asian and Asian Australian perspectives, imaginations, and ideas firmly at the centre of this unique festival. Join us for three weeks of wonder, beauty, magic, and stories...
