Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) has announced the launch of its new digital platform, Digital Stage, hosting a collection of recorded performances from a number of Queensland-based companies, including Dead Puppet Society and Queensland Symphony Orchestra.

“QPAC has a great history of sharing iconic stories and the new Digital Stage will take its performances from the traditional floorboards to audiences far and wide,” said Queensland’s Minister for the Arts Leeanne Enoch.

Digital Stage currently features content from Dead Puppet Society, including award-winning performances of The Wider Earth and Ishmael, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Circa and Queensland Theatre. In addition to performances recorded in QPAC’s various venues, the platform also features behind-the-scenes exclusives from multiple companies, including puppetry demonstrations from DPS, interviews with the creatives behind Queensland Theatre’s Boy Swallows Universe and a post-show conversation with the two original Broadway cast members of An American in Paris, Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope, who reprised their roles earlier...
