The Australian Ballet has today announced that Hong Kong-born British conductor Jonathan Lo has been appointed as its new Music Director. He will replace Nicolette Fraillon, who will leave the company in December after an almost 20-year tenure.

I personally look forward to welcoming Jonathan as a creative partner, and to working together as The Australian Ballet enters its next exciting chapter,” said Artistic Director of The Australian Ballet David Hallberg.
