Not content with entertaining global audiences through their snappy, astute and often irreverent videos on YouTube and TikTok, TwoSet Violin has now become a fashion label. The Brisbane-based duo of Brett Yang and Eddy Chen, who currently boast over three million YouTube subscribers, have launched a new fashion line on their sister site – appropriately named TwoSet Apparel – in the form of a seven-part collection inspired by Gustav Holst’s iconic suite The Planets.

“As classical musicians and content creators, we’ve always believed in making classical music accessible and relevant to the modern generation,” Yang tells Limelight. “The fashion line to us is an extension of that belief – a clothing brand authentically created by, and for musicians.”

The TwoSet mission has always been to make classical music accessible and relevant to their own Gen Z generation, and while the clothing range with its street vibe will definitely appeal to the under 30s, there’s nothing there that ought to put off the ‘oldies’ either.
