Ensemble Q opened 2022 as a year in which to celebrate the resilience of the human spirit, with its first concert Fantasias delivering music to soothe the soul. Fortunately, the arts scene in Queensland has survived the last few years of lockdowns and restrictions through adaptation and evolution. Ensemble Q is continuing to diversify with a new residency at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Concert Hall from September, after five years as Ensemble in Residence at the Queensland Conservatorium. The Conservatorium residency will be ongoing and the ensemble will continue to perform there and mentor Griffith University students for a bright musical career. There are also another two intimate cafe-style concerts at the City Workshop, which were the clotted cream of its 2021 performances.  Ensemble Q will present a total of six concerts in 2022, with plans to perform in Townsville, Sydney, Adelaide and Bellingen.
